In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and kids, reading, praying, writing/journaling, listening to podcasts, walking in nature, and enjoying time at the lake. I find joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching sunsets, buying fresh flowers, and nurturing my connection with God.
Through my own experiences, as well as those of my clients and colleagues, I’ve learned that true growth comes from meeting change with courage, confidence, and conviction. This realization sparked the creation of Courage at Every Crossroad—a space to inspire others to approach life’s transitions with the same bravery and resilience.
We all carry different versions of ourselves and our lives up until this point. But just because we’ve lived certain chapters doesn’t mean those versions need to travel with us into the next season.
The crossroads we face are moments of choice—decisions about which parts of our past to carry forward, which to modify, and which to leave behind. This is the core of Courage at Every Crossroad. Some crossroads are monumental; others are subtle. But every day, we encounter choices—some conscious, some unconscious.
For me, having courage at these crossroads means reclaiming our power to choose a new direction—whether by necessity or desire. It’s about facing the truth of where we’ve been and realizing that the path we’ve been on may no longer serve the person we are becoming. Sometimes, the boldest act is acknowledging that the map we’ve trusted is outdated—and it’s time to chart a new, authentic course toward the future we’re meant to create.
A crossroad symbolizes more than just a life change. It’s a hopeful moment—an opportunity to open ourselves to something greater, provided we’re willing to let go of outdated versions of ourselves and embrace the possibilities ahead.
